Battery replacement

Our trained technicians offer a quick and professional service.

We aim to complete each battery intervention within two hours. Our workshop uses only high-grade Swiss batteries to ensure longevity. We offer a one year guarantee on all battery replacements to ensure total satisfaction.

Battery replacement process:

step 1: inspection and initial testing

Upon arrival to us the watch is tested for waterproofing capabilities using a variety of machines and techniques including pressure and wet testing when necessary. This helps us identify any potential problems and assess if any case components need replaced.

STEP 2: battery replacement

The case is cleaned before opening to prevent any foreign particles contaminating the movement. Once clean, the case is opened and the movement inspected by our trained and skilled technicians to ascertain its condition and identify any potential problems. Once satisfied, the old battery is carefully removed and the movement has a consumption test performed to ensure it is operating properly. The battery is replaced with a new high-grade Swiss cell.

STEP 3: case and bracelet cleaning

The now working movement is then removed from the case, which is meticulously cleaned along with the bracelet in an ultrasonic bath. The case and bracelet are then steam cleaned to remove all trace of any debris and contaminants.

STEP 4: waterproofing

All gaskets in the case are replaced with factory original components, and the movement is carefully restored to its position in the case. The technician inspects the glass and dial to ensure there is no trace of dust. The watch is then tested for waterproofing using a combination of techniques including air pressure and wet testing when necessary.

Step 5: final checks

The watch is inspected by our quality control team who ensure all work has been carried out to our meticulous standards, and only once satisfied can the client be notified of the work's completion.
