Servicing

SERVICING

Our skilled watchmaking team undertake each job with the highest level of precision and care.

Every job is provided with a minimum one year guarantee, increasing to two years for our brand accredited watches. Our aim with every service is to ensure complete satisfaction.

Our service process:

step 1: de-case

The case is disassembled and the movement set aside ready to be stripped to its component parts. The case and bracelet are sonic cleaned ready for reassembly once the service is complete.

STEP 2: disassemble and clean movement

The movement is carefully dismantled by one of our trained and accredited watchmakers. Any damaged parts are repaired or replaced, with the hands and dial being set to one side. The dismantled movement is cleaned in an ultrasonic machine with a combination of 4 different solutions to remove all trace of impurity.

STEP 3: reassembly

Once the components are dry, the reassembly process can start. Each part is lubricated in accordance to exacting manufacturer specification and assessed for functionality by the watchmaker. Approved grades of oils and greases are skilfully applied to ensure optimum performance from each watch.

STEP 4: Waterproofing

All gaskets in the case are replaced with factory original components, and the movement is carefully restored to its position in the case. The watchmaker inspects the glass and dial to ensure there is no trace of dust. The watch is then tested for waterproofing using a combination of techniques including air pressure and wet testing when necessary.

Step 5: Testing

Each watch is tested for a minimum of 3 days to ensure functionality and timekeeping accuracy within exact accordance of manufacturer guidelines wherever possible. Any inaccuracy in timekeeping is regulated and corrected, and the testing process begins again until the watch is performing optimally. Once the watch has passed testing, it receives a final quality control procedure and once we are fully satisfied, the client will be notified of the work's completion.
